ARTIST STATEMENT

“If you go off into a far, far forest and get very quiet,
you’ll come to understand that you’re connected with everything.” - Alan Watts

In this body of work I explore the horizontal structure. As I look at nature I gaze, moving my eyes left to right, right to left following the horizon line. I am engaging in the interplay of shapes, colors and relationships, how one thing leads me to another and how they are all connected.

PURCHASE INFORMATION

Each painting in this series is an original signed by the artist. The materials used are acrylic paints, charcoal and graphite. Each painting is done on a stretched canvas and cradled in a natural wood frame 1 and 1/2 inches in depth. Paintings are priced by size.
30 x 24 inches is $1800.
40 x 30 inches is $2500
18 x 48 inches is $2100
36 x 48” inches is $3600.

The 9% Sonoma County tax is included in the price.
